Just came across this ad from Burger company Hardee's, and I must say that I really don't like. Too many clichés, not enough twists in it. And the product ultimately is nothing but a good representation of what French cuisine can and should be. Anyway they forgot the French beans, the French letters, the French windows, the French doctors... Merci quand même.

ReplyDeleteJe viens de terminer French Women don't get fat - non pas dans un quelconque espoir de regime, mais par tres grande curiosite. Si l'on passe le cote perte de calorie, le livre trace extraodinairement le profil francais vis a vis de la nourriture: manger pour le plaisir. Faire ses courses au marche et donc acheter saisonnier. Aimer la variete, chercher des saveurs, des gouts. Aimer experimenter en cuisine. Bref, aimer la vie, aimer en profiter: c'ets peut-etre la notre vrai point d'avance?
